The title is precisely what the story is! Totally sunshiny and beautiful! A lovely love story between two opposites: a grumpy man, full of sadness and guilt, and a beautiful woman, full of hope and spirit.
Tony Garcia arrives at Port Rufton, running from a tragic event for which he feels horribly guilty. So much, that he punishes himself with solitude and grumpiness, keeping people away from him. Then he meets Ava Starling, a woman who shines from within, full of beauty inside and out. How can he help falling for this sunshiny woman?

Ava was born and raised in Port Rufton, then left with her husband Liam for college and waited for Liam to develop his career. What she expected to be a few years, then return home to continue their work remotely, turned into a rat race for Liam, literally. He turned from the nice boy she married into a horrible man who cheated on her and gloated about it. Until she caught him, divorced him, took half of what he had made, and came back home. She took over her father’s restaurant and she’s happier that she’s been in years.
There’s a very strong attraction between grumpy Tony and sunshiny Ava, but how to bridge the gap? Tony is in self-indicted punishment and Ava doesn’t dare take the initiative. It feel upon her friend Rory to take matters into his own hands!

Apart from their lovely story, there’s the feels of small town, with its incredibly efficient and dramatic gossip mill, and friend Rory who looked up for Ava and was a good friend to Tony. The story reads fast because it’s so cute and delightful, a lovely interlude between other angsty books.
