Book review: Never Saw You Coming, by S.L. Scott

 Incredibly romantic, very sweet, two wonderful characters and one amnesia incident.  Loch and Tuesday met in a coffee shop, she was very bitchy but attractive, he left because he was in a hurry at work, as always.  When she left she was mugged and hit the wall, falling unconscious.  Something tugged at Loch and he rushed to her aid, where other spectators just watched.  He felt protective, so he went with her in the ambulance and picked her up when she was released from the hospital.  When he learned she had total amnesia from the concussion, he took charge and took her home.  And promptly fell in love!

The love story was slow and sweet and almost like they weren’t aware of what they were feeling.  This part was a little cheesy for me but sweet.  What was intriguing was the difference in Tuesday’s demeanor before the mugging and after.  She was bitchy in the coffee shop but very sweet after the mugging, so there’s a mystery there.

The best part of the book is the last half when they get information and start working on it.  There was action and some suspense.  Not my preferred style of book, since there was crying but not much angst.  I found Tuesday super sweet but would have loved her to be a bit more feisty.  Loch was a workaholic but started to find balance when he found other priorities.  His heart and his mind opened up when he found the perfect woman!

Super sweet and entertaining, a great read for a plane ride.
